Be the Queen of Hearts this Valentine's Day with our top 10 tips for February fashion
Want to up your fashion game this spring and pull together the perfect outfit for Valentine's Day with the perfect nail art look? Here are our top 10 tips for February fashion.1. Say it with hearts
Hearts are everywhere for Valentine's Day so why not restyle that sweatshirt with a DIY heart makeover? Bold red sequins would be an on-trend choice.
2. I heart nails
Beautiful pastels are a big trend for spring nails. Try a neutral base coat topped with sugar pink hearts outlined with a black sharpie to really make them pop. For more dramatic Valentine's nails, layer on two shades of a rich red/black for big impact. Keep nails short and rounded or stiletto shaped.
3. The cold shoulder
Fashion is still obsessed with shoulders, so for Valentine's Day choose a Bardot (both shoulders) or Flashdance (one shoulder) off the shoulder neckline or a dress or top with a shoulder cut out. This is a very fashionable way to dress well and look beautiful for that special date.
4. The sleeve slit
Another easy DIY fashion win; take that old denim shirt and unpick both sleeve seams to around shoulder height, then hem the edges. Add piles of bangles for a hot new look.
5. Dig out your trenchcoat
The trenchcoat is spring's hottest coat style and looks good over everything. Style casually with jeans and sweatshirts or formally over a suit or LBD with heels.
6. Nightwear as day wear
We're not suggesting you go out in your Peppa Pig pyjamas, but pyjama and bathrobe styles are very big fashion trends for spring 2017.
7. The return of the slip dress
Dig out that old slip dress and wear over a statement Tee with chunky ankle boots, or tucked into jeans as a top.
8. Comfortable but amazing
The best date outfit is always something you feel and look amazing in. One effortlessly classic look is the perfect skinny jeans, a silk camisole or blouse and tailored blazer with a heel for the perfect blend of comfort and style. Or style that gorgeous simple shift with knockout earrings or bangles.
9: Hot colours for spring
Yellow is back in every shade imaginable and so is khaki, so dig out those old utilitarian styles from the back of the wardrobe. Denim never goes out of style and there are plenty of gorgeous shades of blue around for spring. These will pair beautifully with your pastel nails.
10. DIY a funky clutch
Tiny bags are big for spring, so why not DIY an emoji clutch for a unique and funky look?
